1969 GOTTLIEBS TARGET POOL PINBALL MACHINE. IVE ATTACHED A QUICK VIDEO OF THE MACHINE IN ACTION (SEE BELOW). THIS PINBALL IS WORKING, AND THE GLASS AND PLAYFIELD ARE IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, HOWEVER THERE ARE SOME ISSUES. THE LEFT FLIPPER IS WEAK. THE COIN MECHANISMS ARE NOT WORKING AND MUST BE TRIGGERED MANUALLY. THE HORIZONTAL MOTOR SWITCH ON THE BOTTOM OF THE MACHINE AT THE RIGHT SOMETIMES RUNS INDEFINITELY. THE RESET BUTTON MUST BE PUSHED TO RESET THE MOTOR AND GET THE GAME FUNCTIONING AGAIN. THE SCORING IS TOO HIGH FOR SOME HITS. FOR EXAMPLE, THE POOL BALL NUMBER TARGETS AND THE LOWER BUMP EDGES SCORE 110 POINTS AND SHOULD SCORE ONLY 10. THE BULLSEYE TARGETS DO NOT SCORE UNLESS THEY ARE LIT. THE POOL BALL TARGET #9, 10, AND 13 LIGHTS ARE OUT AND THE #4 LIGHT GOES OFF OCCASIONALLY. THERE ARE SOME RUB MARKS ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE MACHINE. Gottliebs 1978 Joker Poker exceptional home use only pinball machine. Probably the nicest original, unrestored example of this model in the United States, maybe even the world. It was tucked away in a bedroom where it sat for many years untouched. I dusted it off, replaced all the rubber, a few targets and a handful of bulbs and that is all that it required. It fires right up and plays as good as it did when it was new. Back glass and play field are clean and bright with absolutely no wear that I can see. No paint loss, wear, chips, scratches or fading anywhere on the cabinet. This is as good as it gets. Comes with original keys, paperwork, manual and coin box. Set up for free play. Please allow adequate time for me to manufacture the crate and get it to she shipper if going that route. Apparently there was a “door” to the train car that opened and closed to reveal the tuba player on the train. Not sure if that is missing or just not operating. Extra bulbs and fuses included.
