Baffle Ball Sr. Pinball Home Game VTG INCOMPLETE HAS DAMAGE PARTS REPAIR DISPLAY

Pinball Home Game VTG INCOMPLETE HAS DAMAGE PARTS REPAIR DISPLAY ONLY. MISSING AT LEAST, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE METAL PIECE FOR THE BOTTOM AND HAS NO BALLS OR PLUNGER. THE BOARD HAS A LOT OF WEAR AND CREASES AS SHOWN IN THE PHOTOS. THE OUTER METAL HAS A DENT ON THE RIGHT SIDE BETWEEN “BALL” & SR. It does have the small metal dish inside the “Baffle Point” and the one set of “legs” on the back. It measures approximately 29 3/4″ L x 17 5/8″ W. Please see all photos for further condition details as they are also part of the description.

Antique Gottlieb Baffle Ball Home Game Tabletop Pinball, 1931, Bagatelle

Antique Gottlieb Baffle Ball Home Game Tabletop Pinball, 1931. Condition is fairly nice but there are some imperfections such as. Tears in background near the top. Missing nail on side trim. See pictures for best description of condition. The first Pinball-Game by D. Designed by David Gottlieb. 5-10 colored balls would be launched, one at a time and you need to try and land the balls into a saucer to score the points shown double if the ball is the same color as the saucer. The baffle ball hole, if landed, doubles the score for the entire game unless another ball knocks it out. Small point amounts were at the bottom of the playfield for the balls that didn’t land in the saucers. Score had to be calculated manually as no score reels existed at the time.

1930s Baffle Ball Home Pinball Machine New Old Stock Vintage Antique Gottlieb

I have no idea how this item has survived almost 100 years without being used. Against all odds, this is a new old stock (balls are in packing bag attached to front pins with twine) Baffle Ball pinball game. This is the smaller home tabletop version of what has been described as the first pinball game ever manufactured. Measures 14″ x 23″. The metal trim pieces show tarnish and I can’t promise every pin is there, but it appears to be complete. Paint is in basically perfect condition. I’m not about to be the first person to test it. I want to preserve it. But I did pull back the spring knob that releases the balls and it works great. There is some dust. I do not want to wipe it off for fear of damaging it. Belongs in a museum or a high end collection. Thank you for looking.

Vintage 1931 Baffle Ball Pinball by Gottlieb. 1 cent per play. 8 balls per game. Playing field does have some surface cracks however doesn’t affect play. It was custom made and closely matches staining of original game. Please see pics for overall detail.
