THIS IS JUST A REALLY RARE PIN. IN MY OVER 40 YEARS IN THIS HOBBY THIS IS THE FIRST ONE I HAVE SEEN OR HAD THE PLEASURE TO COME INTO OUR STORE IN JUPITER FL FOR THE PINBALL DUDES. IF 500 WERE PRODUCED IN 1985 HOW MANY CAN STILL BE AROUND TODAY. OUR INCREDIBLE TEAM OF TECHS TORE DOWN THE PLAYFIELD, CLEANED AND WAXED EVERYTHING AND INSTALLED ALL NEW RUBBERS AND LIGHTS. LEDS WERE INSTALLED AND MAN DO THEY BRING OUT THE COLORS IN THE PLAYFIELD. THE PLAYFIELD SHOWS MINOR WEAR ASSOCIATED WITH A 39 YEAR OLD PIN. THESE ARE ALMOST ALWAYS DESTROYED, BUT NOT THIS PIN. PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICS TO SEE HOW GREAT THE PLAYFIELD LOOKS WITH THE NEW LIGHTS, AS THEY REALLY MAKE THE PLAYFIELD COLORS POP. PLEASE LOOK AT THE ART ON THIS PLAYFIELD AS IT IS SOME OF THE COOLEST YOU WILL EVER SEE ON A PINBALL MACHINE. AGAIN THESE PINS WERE VERY POPULAR AND HEAVILTY PLAYED, BUT THIS EXAMPLE LOOKS GREAT. THE CABINET EXHIBITS NORMAL NICKS AND SCRATCHES FOR A GAME OF THIS AGE AND SOLID ORIGINAL COLORS. THIS GAME IS PURE WILLIAMS WITH 3 CLASSIC POP BUMPERS, 6 CLASSIC DROP TARGETS, 3 FLIPPERS AND A KICKOUT HOLE. OUR TECHS INSTALLED BRAND NEW DROP TARGETS AND THEY LOOK GREAT. IF YOU WERE WAITING FOR A GREAT PLAYING EXAMPLE OF THIS PIN TO COME ALONG, WITH LED LIGHTS, A SOLID PLAYFIELD THAT LOOKS GREAT, AND ONE THAT WAS ACTUALLY WORKED ON BY PROFESSIONAL PINBALL TECHS, THEN DO NOT MISS THIS ONE. 1967 Williams Beat Time Pinball. Fully functioning Williams Beat Time pinball machine. Manufactured in 1967, this pinball machine featured the Bootles. This one is in great working condition and it has the upgraded BEATLES backglass. It also comes with the original Bootles backglass (as seen in last photo). It allows one or two players. There are two 2 Flippers, five Pop bumpers, two Slingshots, one Rotating targets with four targets (neat feature), two Standup targets, Left and right dual outlanes. Williams Beat Time took advantage of the musical group The Beatles, and used this unlicensed pinball, changing the name of the group to The Bootles. But clearly from the art they are representing The Beatles. This one comes with the reissue backglass of this game available featuring “The Beatles” characters on the glass instead of The Bootles. Designed by Steve Kordek and art by Jerry Kelley, they made 2,802 of the Williams Beat Time machines in 1967. However, very few remain and most are not leaving the collectors who have them. Here’s a chance to get a nice example of one of these rare, working machines for your man cave or Beatles collection. Note: Coin slot has been modified to bypass need for coins. Just push button and play. However, parts are still there to change it back. Also, missing backboard which covers rear of display. I will assist with transport in any way I can. This is a decent Bally Beat the Clock Pinball machine. It plays just fine. I changed all rubbers with in the past 1 month. There may be some lights burned out. The drop targets do not match as well as the pop bumper caps. The cabinet has wear mostly along the bottom edge. The artwork on the cabinet is faded. The playfield has wear and some paint has wore away. Overall its a nice and fun pinball machine. The boards and wiring are all in good shape with no hacks. The key locks have been drilled out.
