This is a fully working, fully shopped, Elvira pinball game. Everything on the game is working perfectly. We tested every single switch, light bulb, solenoid, flashlamp, display dot, etc. And everything is fully working. We installed new top-quality LED bulbs in the game so the lights are brighter, more colorful (tastefully), and should never burn out. The game has new balls and new locks. Currently, the game is set on “Free Play” so that you don’t need to drop coins or open the door and trigger switches in order to play in your home. But it also has quarter coin mechs installed so you can operate it for profit if you so wish. Here is a video showing the game playing. CONDITION and RATINGS for THIS SPECIFIC MACHINE. This cosmetic condition of this Elvira pinball is very good. Elvira was a very successful title for Bally/Williams and most of the Elviras you find are beyond worn out. They got a LOT of play. And stayed on the route longer than most pinballs because account owners liked them, so they requested them from operators. So usually the cabinets are really beat up and faded. And the playfields are usually worn down to the wood. This particular Elvira was fortunate to have a factory playfield mylar installed, so all of the artwork in the center and main part of the playfield was protected and therefore is still in great shape. Where there is no mylar – around the edges in some places – the playfield is worn and some wood is showing. But the mylar protected the vast majority of the artwork. There are some cracked / broken plastics, but for the most part they are intact and in decent shape. The cabinet is usually really faded so that almost no color shows, but this one only has slight fading on one side, otherwise it looks great! And the game is really pretty clean even inside. The game has obviously been played over the years, so there is probably some minor wear/tear from very mild use. But there are no noticeable flaws – the ramps / plastics aren’t cracked and broken, there is no noticeable wear on the playfield. I’m sure if you examine the game with a magnifying glass, you can find flaws somewhere, but I did not – it looks great to me. Just look closely at the pictures – they will tell the picture. If you need any more pictures or have any questions, please let me know – I’m happy to answer. COIN DOOR: 8.5/10. STANDARD GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF PINBALL SHOPPING. When we shop a pinball machine, here is what that includes. 1 Removed most everything from the playfield. 2 Clean, wax, and polish entire playing surface. 3 Replace all above-playfield light bulbs with new LED bulbs. 4 Replace all below-playfield light bulbs with new LED matching colored bulbs. 5 Replace all rubbers with new ones. 6 Re-install all above playfield plastics and hardware after thorough cleaning. Make sure all features of pinball are working properly. 8 Scrub, clean, and touch up cabinet to the best of our limited ability. Install new ball(s). There are probably a few other things we do, but that’s the gist of it. This game is located in sunny, beautiful downtown McLean, IL 61754. Elvira and the Party Monsters is a 1989 pinball game designed by Dennis Nordman and Jim Patla and released by Midway (under the Bally label), featuring horror show-hostess Elvira. It was followed 1996 by Scared Stiff, also designed by Nordman. Condition: Used but in great working condition – lights, sounds, and flippers all function perfectly! Theme: Elvira and the Party Monsters – a spooky, rock’n’ roll party with monsters, BBQ bonuses, and more! Gameplay: Fast-paced action with multiple ramps, targets, and a multi-ball feature for endless fun. Artwork: Eye-catching cabinet and backglass art featuring Elvira and her monster crew – a true collector’s piece. Extras: Comes with the original coin door (currently set to free play), manual, and keys for the coin box. The playfield shows some minor wear consistent with age but has been well-maintained and cleaned. All electronics have been tested and are in full working order – ready to play right out of the box! The cabinet has a few small scuffs (see photos), but overall, it’s in solid shape with vibrant colors. Legs are sturdy with yellow powder-coated finish, and the machine has wheels for easy moving. Playfield is in perfect condition, the entire machine has been completely gone through and every piece has been removed, cleaned, or replaced if needed. Absolutely everything on this machine has been inspected meticulously and then rechecked to ensure quality and durability. This machine plays awesome and will continue to for many years! Side art in excellent condition; back glass has no flaws. The flippers have been rebuilt and the rubbers are new, all light bulbs changed out to LED’s and plastics are excellent! The sound is over the top; full, clean, and creates an amazing play experience. You will never find a machine in better condition than this one! All of our refurbished pinball machines go through a extensive restoration process. Playfield is in perfect condition, the entire machine has been completely gone through and every piece has been removed, cleaned, or replaced (if necessary). Absolutely everything on this machine has been inspected meticulously and then rechecked to ensure quality and durability. This machine plays awesome and will continue to for many years! Original cabinet with original side art in excellent condition; back glass has no flaws. It has a new Rottendog MPU board. The flippers have been rebuilt; the rubbers are new; plastics are excellent! The sound is over the top; full, clean, and creates an amazing play experience. You will never find a machine in better condition than this one! The pinball machine can be moved very easily – no stairs. Here are the specs. The entire pinball machine with the head weighs about 250lbs. The pinball cabinet is 51.5in x 22in x 19in. The head is 27in x 26in x 11in. The legs are removable, but if the legs are not removed the pinball machine is about 68 inches at its tallest point.
