Dwight Sullivan explains what the TMNT Topper does with the Current Code (1.23) below. The topper does over 20 different routines, some more involved than others. All routines have light shows, and the eye at the top of the Technodrome will move about. Sometimes the eye moves randomly and sometimes it looks in the direction that makes sense. It uses the 4 turtles in the front of the topper to show which Turtle the player is thinking about choosing at game start. It will celebrate with the player when they make some of the pinball staples. In addition to those celebrations the topper will go into several different background states. Game goes through a rigorous refurbishment process and service checklist by professional pinball technicians to make sure it is 100% fully operational and looks great! All electronic boards are inspected, serviced, repaired and any burnt connectors replaced. Fuses are checked and correct fuse values installed (safety issue to prevent damage to the game or a fire). Cabinet vacuumed, outside of cabinet cleaned and inspected for any issues. Playfield is stripped down and all plastics, ramps and mechanisms are cleaned and the playfield is polished. If the game has plastic ramps they are flame polished to restore clarity and appearance. Flippers are rebuilt with new plungers, links and coil stops to ensure the strongest possible flippers. This Williams Cyclone pinball has been in my private collection for just over 20 years now. It was originally manufactured for the Japanese market, but the only notable difference is the “spinning chance wheel” in the backbox. US Models had a spinning wheel while this model has the lights spin around the wheel and then it “lights up” the prize. Other than that (and the coin mechs) it plays exactly the same as the others. As you can see from the pics, the playfield is in excellent shape with no real obvious signs of wear. This game has been outfitted with LED lighting in only SELECT areas that make sense, such as flashers and under the playfield. All general illumination was left with original style bulbs to maintain a proper appearance for both the color of the playfield and ball movement across the playfield. It has a mylar protection on the primary portion of the playfield, which can be seen in the photos. This machine also has the various flags representing different countries in the playfield that is often missing from these machines. The game is working great and the kickers, flippers, and rubbers all cause the ball to move swiftly around the field with very smooth action. Feel free to ask if you have any questions. It’s been in storage ever since. Stan was one of the original collectors and he. It has only a little over 8000 original plays. Comes with an NOS schematic, book and Award Card Set. The glass is in mint condition with all the colors as vibrant as new. The play field shows a 9+ out of 10, again with vibrant colors and original factory shine still on it. The cabinet colors are not faded and the white is still bright there are some scratches on the cabinet. It’s been fully shopped out and works perfectly, with new light bulbs and rubber. Looks about as close to new out of the box as you can get on a 41 year old pin. In addition, I have 2 listings related to this one. An NOS play field pulled from the original Gottlieb factory when it was shut down and an NOS set of plastics also from the original Gottlieb factory. We do not have the time to test out the electronic parts, although we do try to be as complete as possible in describing them.
