Meteor by Stern 1979. Alltek Solenoid Driver Board. Game is completely gone through by Orange County Pinballs, a full service pinball shop. Game goes through a rigorous refurbishment process and service checklist by professional pinball technicians to make sure it is 100% fully operational and looks great! All electronic boards are inspected, serviced, repaired and any burnt connectors replaced. Fuses are checked and correct fuse values installed (safety issue to prevent damage to the game or a fire). Cabinet vacuumed, outside of cabinet cleaned and inspected for any issues. Playfield is stripped down and all plastics, ramps and mechanisms are cleaned and the playfield is polished. If the game has plastic ramps they are flame polished to restore clarity and appearance. Flippers are rebuilt with new plungers, links and coil stops to ensure the strongest possible flippers. All rubber rings are replaced and all new lightbulbs installed. All switches are checked, adjusted or replaced. All coils and mechanisms are checked, adjusted or replaced. New sheet of tempered playfield glass. Locks with keys for full access inside the machine.

This is a great example of an early Stern machine. A very complete, fully working machine. The playfield is in great condition with no real wear spots. The only blemish areas are where the boards are glued together to make the play field width, there is a small line where the paint cracked but they are small. The back glass is nice but does have some worn areas. They are smaller and random areas. Cabinet does not have any missing chunks or deep scratches. Has all original boards in the back box. Has new power board located under play field. Has original 6 digit gas displays. Replaced drop targets, bumper covers, rubber rings, waxed play field. Has 2 fully functional 25 cent coin acceptors and original coin box with lid and separate coin compartments on the box. Has a complete original set of cards for instructions and manual with schematics. We installed some color LED bulbs to make the play field look like it glows in areas. Coin door was striped and repainted, legs were striped and repainted. Super condition for its age. Please feel free to ask any questions. More pictures available by request. Remember it is almost 40 years old. We will be listing other games. We also have an original Defender arcade game and a 19 in 1 Defender game. This service is for both parties benefit.
