Key features and originality highlights: Early, low-value scoring style: Playfield uses a simpler 100/300/500 point structure with a single center 1000 point pocket, rather than the escalated multi-tier scoring (jackpot values in the thousands) seen on later trade stimulators from this category. This is consistent with an earlier production era, before scoring values were inflated industry-wide. Manufacturers labeled skill games this way to distinguish them legally from payout gambling devices, a common and important practice in the trade stimulator category during the 1930s. This detail is consistent with, and helps support, the early production dating of this piece Original cabinet paint: Green top and case finish shows honest, consistent age-appropriate oxidation and wear, with single-layer paint loss down to bare wood in worn areas (no repaint layers detected). Serial number 1411 stamped into the interior cabinet finish. Factory-style pencil marking “544” visible on interior plywood, consistent with period assembly/batch tracking marks. Offered here is a very hard to f ind Arlington Sales Company “The Flea” Pinball Trade Stimulator. This is a tabletop machine is from 1932 and was made in Michigan. This machine is as good as can be found. Insert a coin and the balls come out and you play. It’s an excellent example and would be hard to find a better one. It does not have a back door. The machine works on pennies. Has a couple marks on the cabinet but overall great. Could use a little cleaning. Would make a great addition to any collection.
