Atari Middle Earth Vintage Pinball Machine Fully Working Condition California

Full Size Pinball Machine. Escape to a New World. Original vintage Middle Earth Pinball Machine in full working condition. This game was manufactured by Atari in 1978. Middle Earth is one of the most collected of the Atari Pinball machines. The machine features two sets of offset flippers, has two banks of drop-targets with five each for a total of ten drop-targets. It features two pop bumpers, several rollover switches, two spinners, and a challenging horseshoe lane. The game is an extra wide-body game and has a simple yet challenging rule set. More information on this machine can be found on the Internet Pinball Database (ipdb. Com). This machine is in excellent working condition with no mechanical or electrical issues. Cosmetically: I would consider this game to be in very good condition. The machine has just been fully cleaned with new rubber rings installed, all bad general illumination and insert lights have been replaced. The main and auxiliary printed circuit boards have been serviced and repaired, and the playfield mechanical assemblies have been replaced or repaired as needed. New playfield glass was just installed. This game plays strong and fast!! All electronics, game features, and sounds work like they should; game has strong flippers, and all coils, switches, and other functions of the game have been tested and repaired as needed. All plastics are intact and were cleaned and polished with Novus #2 and are in very good condition. The playfield is in excellent condition for a forty year old game with only tiny marks around some inserts. Cabinet is in very good condition and looks great. There are some chips and scratches in the paint and some overall bumps and bruises as would be expected from a game of this era. Graphics show well with no noticeable fading. The main displays, located in the playfield apron, are strong and sharp and have no issues. Back-glass has some flaking at the bottom but still has 99.9% of its graphics but does show some cracking at the bottom. This back glass was a replacement that took me nearly two years to find. This collectable machine would be perfect for your shop, garage or man cave. A special note about Atari games: While this game is currently in perfect working order, I do not recommend this game to first time pinball owners. All machines require service and Atari games are notoriously difficult to repair and maintain and replacement parts for this game are very difficult to find.
