If you have a problem with this game and are within our service area, we can come out to your home and repair it. This is our business, not just a hobby like most sellers! We are so confident in our restorations that we back them up, unlike other fly-by-night sellers that like to put the words “AS-IS” on all of their auctions. The reason we can back up the games we sell is because we actually do the work that’s needed to make the game perform reliably for years to come. It requires a LOT of work and experience to make a 10, 20 or 30+ year old pinball machine reliable. An unrestored game usually results in EXPENSIVE repairs! Don’t fall for sellers that only show you a picture of the game sales FLYER and not a picture of the ACTUAL GAME they will send you! Pinball machines can NEVER be compared simply on price and as always… YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Due to my in-your-home restoration services, I have a proven track record of service and support in the Eastern Pennsylvania, Central/South Jersey and Northern Delaware areas. This game has been professionally inspected and serviced for reliability and enjoyment. I have many years of experience in pinball repair and restoration as a business, not just a hobby. Anyone can change a few rubbers and light bulbs on a game and call it “shopped”. Get ready to hit the high seas with… This game was produced in 1976 by Gottlieb, creator of the most popular mechanical pinball machines on the planet! Shortly after 1976, Gottlieb and all other pinball manufacturers started switching over to digital technology, forever changing the sights, sounds and gameplay of pinball machines as we knew them. This game was incredibly popular when new due to the classic Gottlieb rollover style gameplay along with the ever-popular nautical theme. This game was created when Gottlieb was the king of the arcades, bowling alleys and corner stores. No one could hold a candle to a Gottlieb mechanical pinball machine… They were simply the king of the hill! You’ll love the old-fashioned chime box sounds that take you back to a simpler time in all of our lives. A time when pinball was the king of the arcade and boardwalk. A time before those confounded electronic video games came about! This game is what I call a “rollover” game, which means the object of the game is to complete the sequence of numbers at the center of the playfield by getting the ball to roll-over the corresponding lanes on the playfield. Some of them are easy to get, some are not so easy! Everyone’s favorite feature on this game is the “SPIN-N-SPOT” function. At random intervals, the center spinner will light up and if you can blast the spin-target, the yellow lights at center field will start to strobe in time with the spinner. If the yellow light stops at a rollover number that you need, you get it “spotted”. It can really come in handy for those hard to reach numbers at the upper playfield! Complete the numeric sequence and the SPECIALS will light up to award you “WOW’s” or EXTRA BALLS! All of the great playfield elements are on this game such as pop-bumpers, slingshots, rollovers, a spinner and stationary targets which give this machine a classic playing and vintage feel that will keep you entertained and challenged for hours at a time. Most pinball enthusiasts agree that Gottlieb made the best playing single-level playfield designs and this game is one of the very best. The classic and family-friendly theme goes great in any home gameroom! An absolutely BEAUTIFUL example of this title! The playfield on this game is in fabulous condition and the original factory clear-coat is intact with a mirror finish. The silk-screened plastics are in like new condition with no chipped or cracked pieces! Many brand new parts were installed on the playfield such as plastic posts, chrome post caps, bumper bodies and skirts, flipper mechanicals and bats. The screen-painted backglass is a near pristine original with no flaking! The cabinet is gorgeous with original paint and only a few minor blemishes and touch-ups. The chrome legs have been polished and brand new levelers and playfield glass were installed. See below for the full list of what has been done to this game.
