This is a collector quality Adams Family pinball machine that I restored in 2007, since then it has less than 1,000 plays. It is one of many pinball games I restored so it is not a “one off” restoration done by someone that did not know what they are doing. The game is immaculate inside and out with many extras that you can see in the photos. Every nut, bolt, screw, and every other metal piece was removed, polished over 24-48 hours back to a brand new condition and restored back within the game. All switches and coils were replaced and included professionally cleaning the wiring harness and adding quick connect couplings for easy removal and repair of these parts. The cabinet was completely restored inside and out with new decals and Pinball Pro speakers. The playfield is a reproduction that is in immaculate condition. Additional photos are available upon request. The pinball machine is located in the Sacramento area, roughly 1 hour east of the city. Please be ready to assist with loading using your own truck as I cant do it by myself. Unless you have a large SUV such as an Ford Expedition I would not attempt to pick this up. Up for sale is one of the all time Pinball Machine Classics: The Addams Family. It’s been in our family for years, but it’s time for a new home. As far as its condition, you can see from the pictures that is has normal wear. A few of the corners on the top of the machine show the most wear, but overall, it’s in very good condition. Functionality wise, it works great. A few light bulbs need to be replaced, but otherwise, all the parts work as they’re supposed to. All flippers work great. The hand works fine. All the ramps, bumpers and shoots work as intended. When it finds its new home, it just needs to be plugged in and its in great, playable condition. This Addams Family pinball has a flipper that not only is controlled by the player’s flipper button but also is caused by the game programming to flip at certain points in game play. One earlier form of “auto-flipping” appears on Williams’ 1953’Palisades’. Because this game broke all previous sales records for flipper games at the time , designer Pat Lawlor wanted to commemorate the actual record-breaking game from the production line and arranged to have it made in a gold trimmed cabinet. This change caused a number of games made subsequent in this original run to also have gold cabinets. At least their lower cabinets were trimmed in gold, even if their backboxes their backboxes were still blue.
