Check out video , copy and past the link below to see full video of game play. New rubbers and cleaned and waxed playfield. All is working on the game except the top pop bumper but haven’t looked at it yet. Other then that the game plays great the way it should. I added leds to the inserts under the play field and warm whites to the back box. I really like the game but just don’t have the room for it anymore. Feel free to ask any questions that you may have. Black Knight Pinball Machine Williams Coin Op 1980 Nice Condition Free Ship
Black Knight is hard to find and to find one fully serviced and working is even harder. Game is completely gone through by Orange County Pinballs, a full service pinball shop. Game goes through a rigorous refurbishment process and service checklist by professional pinball technicians to make sure it is 100% fully operational and looks great! All electronic boards are inspected, serviced, repaired and any burnt connectors replaced. Fuses are checked and correct fuse values installed (safety issue to prevent damage to the game or a fire). Cabinet vacuumed, outside of cabinet cleaned and inspected for any issues. Playfield is stripped down and all plastics, ramps and mechanisms are cleaned and the playfield is polished. If the game has plastic ramps they are flame polished to restore clarity and appearance. Flippers are rebuilt with new plungers, links and coil stops to ensure the strongest possible flippers. All rubber rings are replaced and all new lightbulbs installed. All switches are checked, adjusted or replaced. All coils and mechanisms are checked, adjusted or replaced. New sheet of tempered playfield glass. Locks with keys for full access inside the machine. Also the location must be tractor trailer accessible. 1980 WIlliams Black Knight Pinball Machine Restored Working 100%
This game was released by Williams in November of 1980 and became an immediate smash hit. The game has full electronic sounds and speech. The voice in this game. Is that of game designer, Steve Richie. And the Bonus Ball concept where the player with the highest score won additional seconds of. Was a feature where a user could press a button on either side and. Would prevent the ball from draining via that. It would stop and hold the ball and drop it into the. The user had to perform some task to re-enable magna-save. It was also the first machine to use faceted inserts to give a unique jewel look. Here are links to 2 YouTube videos I made of the machine. This machine is in very good shape especially considering it is 39 years old. I have owned this for many years and have gone through this machine, taking most everything apart, cleaning and reassembling. Any parts that were missing or broken were replaced. All playfield and backglass bulbs were replaced with LEDs and the playfield was polished. To the average eye, the playfield looks great but it is original and does have some defects. Some of these machines get pretty badly worn, but this one is in great shape. I dont see any touchups in the upper playfield but the lower playfield has a few around the magna-save and inserts. All rubber has been replaced and the plastics are in great shape. When I got the machine, the backglass was not good so it was replaced with a new original Williams replacement from the late 1980s and is perfect. The cabinet has original artwork that has been touched up and presents well. The legs are in very good shape. The wiring is original and in good shape with no hacks, etc. Although there were no issues with the electronics, the machine has had some service to avoid future problems. The CPU board has had a remote battery holder mounted to avoid any future battery damage. The CPU itself does not show any signs of prior battery damage. The 40 pin interconnect between the CPU & Driver Boards were replaced both male and female. The Power Supply Board was rebuilt with new capacitors. Everything works like it should. It has 3 new black pinballs and even has working coin mechs in place but is currently set on Free Play. It has the ¾ roll tilt ball and plumb bob tilt mechanisms in place. Everything works 100% and the machine plays great! I really like it because with a little practice you can complete all of the various features. It is not as complicated as some of the newer machines but really is fun to play. Everything is working as it should and everything has been serviced properly. No chewing gum or rubber bands holding anything together. I have several other machines and believe me I have seen some atrocious repairs and have seen a lot of sellers passing them off great machine that in reality need a lot of work. Anyone who already owns a pinball machine knows that you will always have a bulb or something that needs to be addressed on a regular basis but this machine is ready to go and needs nothing as is. This has been in my personal collection so I restored and serviced it accordingly. This is a hobby and a passion of mine. I do however, take a great deal of pride in getting the machines I own back to a condition that is as close to new as possible. It is not a museum piece but it is in very good condition.
