Black Hole Pinball Machine – Two Playing fields

The Black Hole is a pinball machine released in 1981 by Gottlieb. It is a collectors item. It is notable for having 2 playing fields One on the top with conventional slope and one mounted underneath sloping away from the player. The Black Hole was the first machine to feature a lower playing field viewed through a window in the upper playing field. It was taunted as the highest grossing pinball of all time. It is a challenging game that allows you to play up to 3 balls at the same time in the two playing fields. We have been using it in our home recreation room for many years. But, it has a working quarter coin accepter that would allow it to be used in a commercial setting. It also has sound and a voice which was not included in many of these. It is a very fun and challenging game. If you want something to test your skill, this is it. It is exciting when you are able to play all three balls at the same time. It is in great condition. We had it serviced last year. All the rubber, lights were replaced last year. Any week or defective parts that effect playing the machine were also tested and replaced as needed. Up for sale is this really nice original Black Knight pinball. The body is in nice condition considering the age. I believe this is all original paint. See pictures for playfield condition. Backglass Is perfect see pictures of back. Plays great and everything has been gone over and a brand new ball count and credit display board has been installed. Flippers have nice action as well. This was produced in 1980 and is alot of fun, exciting game play that includes one of the first multileval playfields and also has magna save ball feature. Made by famous game designer. Black Knight Pinball 1980 machine by Williams. Game is a rare find in this condition. Electronic boards 100% fully functional. Includes New CPR Playfield, this highly collectable game will last a lifetime! Awesome custom backlit Lazer cut ramps. Cool custom drop target decals and instruction cards. The cabinet artwork is all original with minor touch-up. The coin mechs are fully operational set to use quarters and dollar coins. Player controlled Magna-Save, 3 ball. Super clean like it was only home use. All wire harnesses go through a deep sonic clean. All plugs that need repining are done. Too many new things to list but here is a few. New: All new boards, coil wraps, ground braid, light bulbs, plastic set, speaker, led flipper buttons, backglass, and playfield glass. Micro switches upgraded for all ball troughs. This replaces the undependable reed type switches that cause 90% of the problems with the Black Knight. It causes major frustration for the most experienced repair person! The reason is it cant understand where all the balls are all the time. Since balls are kept both in upper trough and lower trough all six switches need to be 100% accurate or game operation malfunctions. Pictures show original flipper buttons and new led buttons so you can have either option. For some reason if you prefer original ramps instead of laser cut ramps its available as well. The game is working great and is in great shape. We recently did the following to the game. Completely tore the game apart and cleaned everything. Put all new leds in the game. Replaced all broken plastics. Added a Color DMD. Touched up the cabinet. The hologram works as does everything else on the game such as the ramp lights. We found no wear on the playfield, added a cliffy at the snackbar to protect the hole there. Warehouse is open Monday through Friday from 8am until 3pm. The warehouse does have a dock and forklift as well as someone to help load the game. Please bring the appropriate straps or tarps as you see fit. We are happy to help you understand your new game and walk you through the options on the games. We can set it for free play for your home.
