We set the machine on a tabletop and set the back end on a block of wood to give the machine the angle it needs to allow the ball to roll. The scoreboard does come off. It’s held in place by a Philips screw accessed from the bottom of the machine. It will require a Philips screw driver to reattach the scoreboard.
