One of a Kind 1970’s Bally Playboy Pinball Machine, Amazing Art Piece

One of a kind fully restored 1978 Bally Playboy pinball machine. The cabinet has been fully sanded, including the back, then completely painted in thick gloss car paint. This machine looks even better than the original 1978 production. The playfield is brand new, and professionally clear-coated. All plastics are new and shiny. The backglass is original with very minor peeling in upper right corner. It still looks great, so there’s no need to replace it. Complete LED modified including blue LED score numbers, color changing lights for playmates. New Alltek Systems boards, and Pincoil upgrades to the flippers and kickers. THIS MACHINE HAS IT ALL FROM HUGH HEFNER SURROUNDED BY 2 GORGEOUS PLAYMATES TO INCREDIBLE AND CLASSIC BALLY GAME PLAY. THIS GAME IS ALL BALLY WITH 3 POP BUMPERS, 5 DROP TARGETS, 5 PLAYBOY STANDUP TARGETS, AND YES EVEN A GROTTO SHOT. THIS GAME WAS STRIPPED TO ITS CORE BY OUR INCREDIBLE TEAM OF TECHS, CLEANED AND WAXED, NEW RUBBERS INSTALLED AS WELL AS NEW LIGHTS AND LED BULBS. THE LEDS WERE STRATEGICALLY INSTALLED AND THEY LOOK ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. CHECK OUT THE LEDS IN THE PICTURES AND YOU WILL SEE HOW THEY REALLY ACCENT THE BACK GLASS AND PLAYFIELD COLORS. THESE PLAYFIELDS ARE USUALLY BLOWN OUT DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF GAME PLAY BUT NOT THIS ONE. THIS IS A NICE PLAYFIELD WITH MINOR WEAR IN SPOTS NOT YOUR TYPICAL EXCESSIVE WEAR. THE BACKGLASS LOOKS STUNNING WITH THE LEDS INSTALLED AND IS A NICE ORIGINAL WITH MINOR IMPERFECTIONS. THE DISPLAYS ARE BRIGHT AND STRONG. THE CABINETS ARE OFTEN EXTREMELY FADED BUT THIS ONE SHOWS STRONG ORIGINAL COLORS AND NORMAL NICKS AND SCRATCHES. THE GAME PLAYS AS IT SHOULD WITH NO ERRORS. WE INSTALLED A NEW ALTEK MASTER BOARD TO INSURE YEARS OF TROUBLE FREE GAME PLAY. Playboy Pinball Machine Stern Mods Custom 2002

Custom powdercoated metal trim. Game is completely gone through by Orange County Pinballs, a full service pinball shop. Game goes through a rigorous refurbishment process and service checklist by professional pinball technicians to make sure it is 100% fully operational and looks great! All electronic boards are inspected, serviced, repaired and any burnt connectors replaced. Fuses are checked and correct fuse values installed (safety issue to prevent damage to the game or a fire). Cabinet vacuumed, outside of cabinet cleaned and inspected for any issues. Playfield is stripped down and all plastics, ramps and mechanisms are cleaned and the playfield is polished. If the game has plastic ramps they are flame polished to restore clarity and appearance. All switches are checked, adjusted or replaced. All coils and mechanisms are checked, adjusted or replaced. New sheet of tempered playfield glass. Locks with keys for full access inside the machine. Also the location must be tractor trailer accessible. 1978 Bally Playboy Pinball Machine

We are having a run on these Bally Playboys. This is our fourth Playboy in the last 4 months offered up for sale. This one is a fresh trade in from a very nice home. I would rate the whole machine at an 8 out of 10. The back glass is a 9 and we sealed it. The playfield has 3 small wear spots around the drop targets and most of the playfield has Mylar on it. The cabinet is all original, no touch ups, not all that bad for a 40 year old playmate. Somewhere along its life, someone glued 2 original keys to a Playboy club or hotel on the apron. We cleaned and waxed the playfield, new bulbs where needed, new rubbers, new lock and key and new leg levelers. Game still has full coin. 76 playboy restored but non-working due to a short. He thought it was the rectifier? Board which he sent a new one but that wasn’t it.
