THIS IS THE CLASSIC AND ICONIC PINBALL MACHINE BASED ON ELTON JOHN. I PLAYED THIS PIN FOR HOURS AND HOURS AS A KID IN THE ARCADES AND IT NEVER GOT OLD. I HAVE SEEN A TON OF THESE COME THROUGH OUR SHOP AND THIS BY FAR ONE OF THE NICER ORIGINALS. THE ICONIC BACKGLASS LOOKS AMAZING AND IS AS CLOSE TO PERFECTION AS YOU CAN GET. THIS DOES HAVE THE HARD TO FIND VERSION OF THE BACKGLASS THAT DOES NOT BLACKOUT THE GIRL WITH STARS. THE CABINET COLORS ARE OFTEN FADED BUT THIS ONE SHOWS STRONG RED AND BLUES WITH NORMAL NICKS AND SCRATCHES. THESE GAMES WERE PLAYED SO MUCH THAT THE PLAYFIELD BLUES ARE OFTEN WORN AWAY. THIS ONE SHOWS MINOR WEAR FOR A GAME OF ITS AGE. OUR TECHS TORE THE GAME TO ITS CORE, CLEANED AND WAXED EVERYTHING, INSTALLED NEW RUBBERS AND LEDS. OUR INCREDIBLE TEAM OF TECHS PUT HOURS INTO THIS PIN MAKING SURE IT PLAYED RIGHT WITH NO ERRORS. WE INSTALLED LED LIGHTS AND MAN DO THEY LOOK AWESOME. Pinball machine by Bally 1975. Game is completely gone through by Orange County Pinballs, a full service pinball shop. Game goes through a rigorous refurbishment process and service checklist by professional pinball technicians to make sure it is 100% fully operational and looks great! All electronic boards are inspected, serviced, repaired and any burnt connectors replaced. Fuses are checked and correct fuse values installed (safety issue to prevent damage to the game or a fire). Cabinet vacuumed, outside of cabinet cleaned and inspected for any issues. Playfield is stripped down and all plastics, ramps and mechanisms are cleaned and the playfield is polished. If the game has plastic ramps they are flame polished to restore clarity and appearance. Flippers are rebuilt with new plungers, links and coil stops to ensure the strongest possible flippers. All rubber rings are replaced and all new lightbulbs installed. All switches are checked, adjusted or replaced. All coils and mechanisms are checked, adjusted or replaced. New sheet of tempered playfield glass. Locks with keys for full access inside the machine. Also the location must be tractor trailer accessible. (1) Vintage Bally Captain Fantastic Elton John Pinball Arcade Machine. Based on the 1975 British operetta fantasy drama film / movie “Tommy” with The Who & Elton John. Condition is preowned and working properly. Playfield is in excellent condition – please view all pics and send any questions. Playfield has slight wear around some inserts, but overall above average. Backglass is in amazing condition! Original and has been sealed with Triple Thick to preserve the art. Field has been fully waxed. All topside bulbs have been replaced w/ 44 incandescent – nice and bright! Scoring reels have been cleaned. Cabinet and back box are solid. Cab and box have a few paint chips and scratches, but not badly faded like most Captain Fantastics. Overall this is a solid above average example of this title – in extremely good condition. Offered here is a great Tommy The Who Pinball Machine. This machine is in great condition and has been in a home environment for years. The playfield is excellent with no wear. Boards have no damage etc. Cabinet has some marks (see pictures) but overall very nice. It comes with locks and keys. Has an aftermarket Topper that really shines.
