Vintage EM pinball machine from Williams. Cabinet as been sanded and repaired in spots and then new stencils made for the artwork. Twilight Zone Pinball Machine Custom LED’s Mini TV plays TZ Episodes withAudio

When I bought this machine, it was all original. If you’ve ever played a TZ in a dark or dim room, you know that it has very inadequate lighting and is impossible to play without lighting above the machine. So, I went to work on it. I replaced all the original incandescent bulbs with LED’s on the playfield and the back light. Then, after discovering that the playfield still needed more light in various areas, I fabricated and built custom LED features in key areas that resulted in a dazzling and beautifully lit playfield. You can play this machine in total darkness! Also, I added additional features including the Pyramid, Pop Bumpers “UFO” LED mods, marbles in the gumball machine that resemble real gumballs (in the original TZ machines, the gumball machine is empty), color changing/flashing LED’s inside the gumball machine, and the really cool TV that plays authentic Twilight Zone episodes with volume controlled audio via included external speakers! The TZ episodes begin automatically when the machine is powered up and play continuously even when the machine isn’t being played (really cool feature). I’m not sure how many episodes play in the loop, but it seems that there are two hours or more before it begins to repeat the loop. I also upgraded the computer with a home version EPROM chip which adds additional features and options to choose from in the settings. Included also are an almost full set of replacement rubber bumpers. Original Owners Manual included. The cabinet is in very good condition (9/10). There are no issues with the machine, no parts missing, and playfield shows virtually no wear. The rule set and game play is phenomenal for this machine. You’ll play it thousands of times and never get tired of it! The settings combinations are virtually infinite. This TZ machine is awesome. Twilight Zone pinball machine is a widebody machine, designed by Pat Lawlor and based on the TV series of the same name. It was first released in 1993 by Midway (under the Bally label). This game is part of WMS SuperPin line of widebody games alongside Star Trek: The Next Generation and Indiana Jones: The Pinball Adventure. Following the huge success of The Addams Family pinball game, Midway gave Lawlor full creative control over the design of his next game, and the result is an unusually complex machine. Among its noted features include a working gumball machine (which deposits balls), a working analog clock (used as a timer for various modes), the Powerfield (a small separate play field where the ball is propelled by magnets rather than flippers), and the Powerball, a white ceramic ball which is lighter than a regular steel ball and is non-magnetic. In addition to adapting the theme music from the original TV show, the games main background music is an interpretation of the 1982 hit Twilight Zone, by Golden Earring. Tim Kitzrow provided the voice of Rod Serling.
