An 80’s Williams collector classic… This game was produced in 1985 by Williams, creator of some of the most desirable and popular pinball machines of the 80’s. This game is held in the highest regard due to it’s timeless theme, fabulous artwork and fantastic gameplay. It has it all! Comet was the very first digital pinball machine to feature a ONE MILLION point shot! This game has a lightning-fast playfield and very addictive layout that makes you feel like you’re right back at the old amusement park or on the boardwalk, just like when you were a kid. What can I say other than Comet is one of my personal favorite games of all time! You’ll love all of the voices and sound effects in this game that really put you right into the carnival atmosphere. Comet is one of the most collectable pinball machines from the 80’s! The classic theme goes great in any home gameroom! Most Comet games are completely worn to the wood in the center due to the high volume of play that they saw. The playfield on this game is in excellent original condition due to the clear factory mylar covering that was installed when the game was new. There is some modest wear and swirl marks in the non-mylared areas, but overall it’s a really nice original field. Loads of brand new parts were installed such as a full plastics set, plastic posts and post caps, lane guides, pop-bumper caps, corkscrew and cycle jump ramps, full flipper assemblies, target decals abd flipper bats. All of the lighting has been upgraded with a deluxe L. Package and brand new L. Score displays were installed. All other mechanical parts have all been gone over and serviced as needed. The painted backglass is in near pristine original condition with no flaking, fading or bubbling. The cabinet is excellent with some minor blemishes and touch-ups. The legs have been customized with orange powder coat and new levelers were installed along with new playfield glass. It plays lightning fast just like it did in 1985!
