COIN-OP PLAYER PIANO This is a coin-op piano made from an old player piano made by Starck Co in Chicago. There are toy rubber animals behind a glass panel in the top. They are hooked up with hoses to corresponding notes on the piano. The piano is operated by a vacuum system. When the corresponding note is played the air is sucked from the animal and that animal dips to look like they are dancing. This is delightful to watch. The piano is electrified. When the coin is dropped in the piano starts to play. There is a large roll in the bottom with 10 different melodies. The piano was operated when it was removed from “The Old Heidelberg Inn” in Sebewaing, Michigan about 30 years ago, however I do not have the key to the coinbox. When plugged in it lights up and I got the mechanism that turns the paper roll to turn and rewind. The vacuum runs, but doesn’t seem to make enough vacuum to operate the piano and animals. It is possible that a hose is off or leaking. The case needs to be repainted. There was a clear plastic panel covering the bottom mechanism so that you could see it operating, but that has been misplaced somewhere along the line. The item “Coin-Op Player Piano with Vacuum Operated FiquresPlays 10 Tunes from Paper Roll” is in sale since Thursday, February 20, 2014. This is a nice 1971 Williams electro-mechanical pinball machine, the Stardust. It has been living in a private home for the last 20 years. There are some normal scratches on the sides, and a chip of surface missing from the lower back corner of the upper box, as shown. The field is quite good, showing only the average, normal playfield wear from decades of use. The feet levelers are free and easily adjustable, no rust anywhere. There is the key that works both the back and front door. It is a 4 player unit, everything works fine, the former owners had it professionally serviced on a regular basis. They had a lot of slot machines and pinballs, and kept all the units in perfect running condition. Back glass is near perfect, no flaking. 1 1/2 hours South of Washington D. 1 hour NW of Richmond, Va. I can safely store this for a reasonable amount of time in my clean, dry, secure home. Please ask questions if needed. Any white spots are camera flash reflections. I pack very well, and do not charge anything extra as “add-ons”. I do not end auctions early. I treat my customers as I would expect to be treated. The item “Williams 1971 Stardust Pinball Machine, 4 Player, Works Great, Keys” is in sale since Sunday, December 24, 2017. The machine is in great shape. It worked for a long time, but only recently stopped working properly. The problem is that a new game won’t start when you add credits. It does not seem like all of the normal startup cycles run properly. I cannot seem to track down the issue or source anyone to help me with it. Perhaps a new owner can give it the help that it needs. Other then that it is in great cosmetic shape. The back glass is sealed to prevent paint peeling off of it. Sale Terms: You agree to the following terms when purchasing items from me. You wouldn’t try to return an item to a garage sale would you? I work the same way. I will in fact work with you if there is a legitimate complaint about an item such as it being broken after it was said to be working. But please do not contact me with complaints that concern things like technical detail that I was not aware of, or slight variations from a picture etc… Especially if you paid next to nothing for that item like at a garage sale. I do not claim to be an expert on the items i sell. The item “Pinball Machine Williams LUKY ACE single Player game” is in sale since Tuesday, February 13, 2018.
