Up for sale is an original 1963 Race-Way pinball machine made by Midway. Race-Way starts up and plays, with the playfield features working (targets, kickouts, etc). The score reels reset, and the scoring appears to function as it should. The right flipper is sticky; the flippers could use a rebuild most likely. A previous owner added a physical switch to the top of the upper cabinet to add credits (please see the pictures). This could be removed and the hole filled, if the future owner chooses to do so. The backglass animation does work, but the wheels on the cars to do not seem to roll freely – the cars appear to slide along the track instead of rolling. I assume the axles on the cars need to be cleaned/degreased and then lubricated, but I have not attempted this maintenance. The playfield is in good shape considering the age, with a few wear spots here and there. The playfield has not been cleaned or shopped, so with new rubbers and a little work it could be improved significantly. The cabinet paint is flaking; although the patina may not bother some who prefer the original artwork, others may prefer to repaint the cabinet and make the game look immaculate. The wood of the cabinet is in good shape and seems free of any water damage or other major issues. The backdoor to the upper cabinet is particle board and not as solid as the rest of the cabinet, but is functional and not noticeable from the front. The original backglass is flaking in areas; the game includes a reproduction backglass not yet installed (silkscreened on plexiglass). More pictures are available upon request. THE PLAYFIELD IS A SOLID EXAMPLE WITH GOOD ORIGINAL COLORS AND NORMAL WEAR FOR A 41 YEAR OLD PIN. WE INSTALLED A NEW MASTER ALTEK CONTROL BOARD TO INSURE YEARS OR TROUBLE FREE GAME PLAY. THE MACHINE OPERATES AS IT SHOULD AND THE DISPALYS ARE BRIGHT AND VIBRANT. THE BACK GLASS IS A REALLY COOL WORK OF ART WITH COOL CARS RACERS AND GIRLS. IT IS A SOLID EXAMPLE WITH MINOR WEAR FOR ITS AGE. THE CABINET COLORS ARE VIBRANT AND THE RED AND BLACKS JUMP OUT AT YOU. THE CAB SHOWS MINOR NICKS AND SCRATCHES FOR A GAME OF THIS AGE. IF YOU WERE LOOKING FOR A REALLY NICE PLAYING EXAMPLE OF THIS PIN WITH A SOLID PLAYFIELD, REALLY COOL BACKGLASS , VIBRANT CAB, THAT PLAYS AS IT SHOULD THEN DO NOT MISS THIS ONE. Viper Night Drivin pinball machine by Sega here now and ready to enjoy. Rare 1 of 1100 ever manufactured. Game is completely gone through by Orange County Pinballs, a full service pinball shop. Game goes through a rigorous refurbishment process and service checklist by professional pinball technicians to make sure it is 100% fully operational and looks great! All electronic boards are inspected, serviced, repaired and any burnt connectors replaced. Fuses are checked and correct fuse values installed (safety issue to prevent damage to the game or a fire). Cabinet vacuumed, outside of cabinet cleaned and inspected for any issues. Playfield is stripped down and all plastics, ramps and mechanisms are cleaned and the playfield is polished. If the game has plastic ramps they are flame polished to restore clarity and appearance. Flippers are rebuilt with new plungers, links and coil stops to ensure the strongest possible flippers. All rubber rings are replaced and all new lightbulbs installed. All switches are checked, adjusted or replaced. All coils and mechanisms are checked, adjusted or replaced. CHECKPOINT by DATA EAST in excellent condition and ready to be yours. Everything works and the machine is in pristine condition. I got it in 1995 and the second owner, I got it for my son who was 5 and well, lets just say he played it a lot for the first couple years and then it has been used very seldom. It was never in an arcade and subject to constant use and abuse. I researched and found this is one of 3500 made and I will bet it is in the best shape of any remaining. Outside Philadelphia and would like it to be picked up and I can drive some of way to you if need be. Close up pictures upon request. Was fully operational a year or so ago and was the focus of my 70’s room for over 10 years; now it turns on, but will not operate further. Something likely went wrong with one of the boards, so if you have other late 70’s Bally’s, you should be able to swap out the boards and find the culprit. Really cool drag race theme with what looks to be a Vega and Barracuda (`Cuda) on the drag strip. Fun to play since it has targets, a roller, and bonus lights that look like a drag strip tree. The cars and outfits the fans are wearing are totally 70’s. Original back glass and play field. Replaced the rubber, targets and bumper tops about 5 years ago. Manuals, old parts and bulbs included. Not interested in parting out or trades; moving cross country and have to lighten the load. Local pick-up only, but will make myself available if you decide to have a shipper pick the items up from my home. I’m a fellow collector , so I know condition, originality and quality are important to us. Williams 1977 Pinball “Hot Tip”. From a local estate cleanout. Previous owners claims that machine was in operational order in 2017 when stored. We plugged in and it powers on, lights up, and left flipper responds. We do not know much about these machines and were unable to get it to play. Condition wise case would rate a cosmetic 7.5 out of 10. Overall very clean with minimal scuffs and marks. Playfield rates an 8 out of 10. Paint is intact, shows very little wear or damage. Looking inside all components appear clean, intact, and complete. Backglass is in need of some restoration. 2 larger areas of paint loss, primarily in the green field areas. One or two smaller spots the size of a nickel that also are in need of touch-up. We have done our best to provide clear and accurate descriptions and photos.
