This is considered to be the earliest ARCADE STYLE MACHINE ever made in England(1895) and started the coin operated arcade genre—–made by MECHANICAL TRADING COMPANY in 1895 a catalog cut from the NIC COSTA book – AUTOMATIC PLEASURES aids in the history—the book was published in 1988-(included with this offer). It is the companion to the much more common gripper made at the same time. This machine is all CAST IRON(the gun that shoots the penny is brass)– and in ORIGINAL PAINT condition—–works and shoots ENGLISH PENNIES LIKE IT DID IN 1895—(PENNIES ARE INCLUDED)— many of these early 1890’S machines were over-painted , plated , or other wise restored—-THIS MACHINE IS ORIGINAL—-includes lock and key.
