Classic machine fun for all ages. It is in beautiful condition and has been in a home since 1995. Everything works as it should. P lay field cleaned, and new rubbers installed. Cabinet is unfaded and is super clean. New flipper mechanisms installed. It can be picked up or will deliver locally for a P.
This is a fully working, fully shopped Flying Carpet pinball game. We have fully shopped it and replaced all of the rubber bands with new ones. We have also replaced all of the light bulbs with new LEDs. We used a very tasteful choice of warm light bulbs on the playfield and backglass, with cool light on the backglass just behind the scores which I think makes the scores pop out and look great. This creates an older, classic yet vibrant look. Every single bulb, switch, coil, target, bell, etc is working great. The game has a new ball and locks. It does not have the quarter acceptance mechanisms, but is on free play. That said, the credit system is fully working on it and knocks on credits when you get a special or match, and counts them down when you start a game. It just can’t take quarters unless you put those quarter accepting parts back on the coin door. CONDITION and RATINGS for THIS SPECIFIC MACHINE. This cosmetic condition of this Flying Carpet pinball machine overall is excellent. It is not perfect, but quite good for something built over 50 years ago. The playfield has only the tiniest spots of wear on it in a few spots. Otherwise the paint is all intact and still as vibrant as the day it rolled off the line. There is planking on the playfield though, which is extremely common. The plastics seem perfect to me – I couldn’t find any flaws. The cabinet is in outstanding condition – no sign of water or other physical damage. The paint is all original and in excellent condition. The backglass looks really great and is in good condition. Gorgeous, vibrant artwork with some flaws. The title section “Flying Carpet” paint and some portions of the clothing on one of the people is starting to flake a bit. You will notice that it is just one specific color that has started to flake. This is common – each color of paint they used on these old silkscreens had different chemistry, and usually there will be one or more colors that didn’t adhere to the glass as well as the other colors. On this game it is just that one shade of red. Otherwise the paint is perfect on the backglass. If you need any more pictures or have any questions, please let me know – I’m happy to answer. PLAYFIELD PLASTICS: 9.5/10. STANDARD GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ELECTRO-MECHANICAL PINBALL SHOPPING. When we shop an electro-mechanical pinball, here is what that includes. 1 Removed most everything from the playfield. 2 Clean, wax, and polish entire playing surface. 3 Replace all above-playfield light bulbs with new LED bulbs. 4 Replace all below-playfield light bulbs with new LED matching colored bulbs. 5 Replace all rubbers with new ones. 6 Re-install all above playfield plastics and hardware after thorough cleaning. 7 Remove backglass, replace all bulbs with LEDs. 8 Carefully clean all score reels and make sure switches are properly cleaned and working. 9 Make sure all features of pinball are working properly. 10 Scrub, clean, and touch up cabinet to the best of our limited ability. 11 Install new lock on front door. 12 Install new ball(s). There are probably a few other things we do, but that’s the gist of it. This game is located in sunny, beautiful downtown McLean, IL 61754. Rare 1968 Williams Pit Stop Pinball Machine. This machine is all original and is one of only 2002 ever made. With its great design and coming from the renowned Williams company, this pinball machine is a sought-after piece. The pinball turns on and lights up, however it is not playable right now. The first person reel restarts every-time, however the 2nd reel needs to be fixed. The flippers are also not working, do not know if that has to do with the reels. The board has great patina and the glass is in great shape, but the glass can use a good cleaning. I will work with any shippers to help move the machine.

Game is completely gone through by Orange County Pinballs, a full service pinball shop. Game goes through a rigorous refurbishment process and service checklist by professional pinball technicians to make sure it is 100% fully operational and looks great! All electronic boards are inspected, serviced, repaired and any burnt connectors replaced. Fuses are checked and correct fuse values installed (safety issue to prevent damage to the game or a fire). Cabinet vacuumed, outside of cabinet cleaned and inspected for any issues. Playfield is stripped down and all plastics, ramps and mechanisms are cleaned and the playfield is polished. If the game has plastic ramps they are flame polished to restore clarity and appearance. Flippers are rebuilt with new plungers, links and coil stops to ensure the strongest possible flippers. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL FROM THE 70’S. THIS IS THE ONE EVERYONE REMEMBERS AND THE ONE EVERYONE WANTS. I PLAYED THIS FOR HOURS AND HOURS AS A KID IN THE ARCADE AND ALWAYS CAME BACK FOR MORE. WHETHER YOU ARE AN ELTON FAN, OR JUST LIKE CLASSIC BALLY PINS THIS GAME IS A MUST. THIS GAME FEATURES ELTON JOHN ON A STUNNING BACKGLASS, JUST GORGEOUS. Our family has enjoyed this FunHouse Pinball Machine for about 20 years it has always been in an air condition environment inside our house. The pinball machine has been routinely maintained and is in good working condition and plays as intended with all features working. Rudy works great and has had his eye lids replaced along with working mouth and shuts eyes when asleep. We replaced the lights with LED’s to reduce the heat and the play field is regularly waxed. There is a hairline crack that’s been fixed on one of the ramps which does not affect play (look at ramp pictures).
