Antique Gottlieb Baffle Ball Home Game Tabletop Pinball, 1931. Condition is fairly nice but there are some imperfections such as. Tears in background near the top. Missing nail on side trim. See pictures for best description of condition. The first Pinball-Game by D. Designed by David Gottlieb. 5-10 colored balls would be launched, one at a time and you need to try and land the balls into a saucer to score the points shown double if the ball is the same color as the saucer. The baffle ball hole, if landed, doubles the score for the entire game unless another ball knocks it out. Small point amounts were at the bottom of the playfield for the balls that didn’t land in the saucers. Score had to be calculated manually as no score reels existed at the time.

The Amazing Spider-Man Pinball Machine by Gottlieb was the first of Gottlieb’s System 80 series of pinball machines. It was the second Marvel character licensed by Gottlieb to be represented in a pinball machine. Special 24? A very rare find. It’s in really nice condition. There is a break to the veneer near the trigger. Glass is dirty, I did not want to mess too much with this antique as I know nothing about pinball machines. It’s four screws on the end that would need to be removed in order to put them back in. Very easy, all you need is a regular screwdriver. I could include photos if needed. It’s 16 1/2″ x 30 1/2″ x 6 1/2 at highest. THIS IS A CLASSIC PIN FROM THE EARY 80’S WITH GREAT ART AND INCREDIBLE GAME PLAY. THIS IS THE SELDOM SEEN GOLD WINGS AND THE VERY FIRST WE HAVE EVER HAD AT OUR STORE. THIS IS A REALLY SOLID EXAMPLE OF THIS GAME THAT PLAYS GREAT. OUR TEAM OF TECHS MADE SURE TO GIVE IT THE LOVE IT TRULY DESERVES. TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT THE PLAYFIELD PICTURES TO SEE HOW AWESOME THE PIN LOOKS WITH THE LED LIGHTS INSTALLED. THESE PLAYFIELDS ARE USUALLY TOTALLY SHOT DUE TO THE POPULARITY OF THIS GAME, BUT NOT THIS EXAMPLE. THE ART AND THE COLORS ON THE PLAYFIELD ARE AWESOME. THE CABINET EXHIBITS NORMAL NICKS AND SCRATCHES FOR A PIN OF THIS AGE. THE GAME EVEN COMES WITH THE HARD TO FIND TOPPER. TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT THE TRANSLITE AND YOU WILL SEE THEY WERE TRYING TO EMULATE TOM CRUISE IN MAVERICK. THIS GAME IS A TRUE CLASSIC WITH 4 POP BUMPERS, 4 FLIPPERS, 8 STANDUP TARGETS, AND EVEN MULITBALL. THE GAME PLAYS AS IT SHOULD WITH NO ERRORS.
