Rare 1980 Gottlieb STAR RACE widebody pinball machine Shopped LEDs-FREE SHIPPING

This game works great. We have fully shopped it and replaced all of the rubber bands with new ones. We have also replaced all of the light bulbs with new Cointaker LEDs (the best you can get). There are just a handful of bulbs that are not cointaker but still LED, because the cointakers would not fit. But only a few. Every single bulb, switch, coil, target, display segment, sound effect, etc is working great. We replaced the MPU board with a new Rottendog MPU. The sound board is new. All of the other boards are original and working perfectly. This game has been in my Pinball Paradise playable pinball museum in central IL for about 3 years and had no problems at all other than one bumper not working for a while, which ended up just being a bad solder joint on the bumper driver board. A 2 minute repair. Otherwise, it has worked flawlessly for over 3 years with weekly play. NOTE: The displays all work perfectly and have no burns or flaws of any kind. The pictures unfortunately make it look like the displays are not working, because this darn iPhone doesn’t allow my to adjust the shutter speed. It is such a fast shutter speed that it catches the displays while drawing the digits and makes them look broken. Trust me, to the human eye, they look and function perfectly. If anyone knows how to adjust the shutter speed on an iPhone 12 please message me. We have of course completely shopped it after pulling it out of the museum last week, so it is playing about like new. This game really plays great, and has SO much to shoot for on the playfield. It has 2 banks of drop targets lower bank has new targets, and upper bank has original targets but I’m including all new ones if you want to change them. I didn’t want to because “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. There are 2 patented “vari-targets” well incorporated into the layout and rules. There are 4 flippers, some loop shots, several lanes, bumpers, slingshots, rollovers, saucers, etc… Just a really fun game with lots to do and a lot of challenge if you want to accomplish everything. Also, I need to emphasize just how HUGE this game is. Not only is it a wide-body, but it is also deeper / longer than most pinballs. It will stick out a little from the other pinballs in your line up because Gottlieb made these enormous. And it was well worth it, because they filled the playfield with a lot more artwork and things to shoot for. I really love these wide-bodies. I wish this became the standard size for pinballs. The game has a new ball and lock. The quarter coin mechs work so you can use it as a piggy bank if you wish. I should also mention that Star Race is one of the rarest Gottlieb games made. Very low production of 870 units. I have never seen another one and I have seen 10s of thousands of pinballs in the last 30 years. I don’t know where they all went, but they are not put up for sale very often I can tell you. One last thing to mention. The pinball has a solid steel plate bolted to the bottom of the game that completely covers the entire bottom of the game. This adds a lot of weight to the game. Because I’ve seen these on other Gottlieb widebodies just like this. It has a hole for the power switch. Here is a video I took showing that the game is fully working. CONDITION and RATINGS for THIS SPECIFIC MACHINE. The physical / cosmetic condition of this game is very good. It is not mint, but very good. The playfield does have some worn spots, but nothing very bad. It looks like there are a few areas that were touched up on the playfield but they look good to me and I’m not sure because it must have been before I got it. Overall, the playfield still looks very good in my opinion. The artwork is outstanding, and so vibrant that the few worn areas really don’t stand out at all. The plastics are all basically perfect. I can’t see any flaws or cracks or broken parts at all. The backglass looks very good, but definitely has some flaking. Fortunately the flaking is in the dark blue sections, which are sky/star areas so it doesn’t stand out badly and just looks like more stars. A lot better than if the girls were flaking badly which they are not. The cabinet is very nice and solid. The paint on the cabinet is all original – no touchup – and still is excellent. There are a few scratches and worn spots but not bad. The coin door is excellent, and has working coin mechs and original coin box. New LED bulbs to light the coin slots, and a new lock. Rare 1980 Gottlieb CIRCUS widebody pinball machine Shopped LEDs FREE SHIPPING

This game works great. We have fully shopped it and replaced all of the rubber bands with new ones. We have also replaced all of the light bulbs with new LEDs. Every single bulb, switch, coil, target, display segment, sound effect, etc is working great. All of the PCBs are original and working perfectly. This game has been in my Pinball Paradise playable pinball museum in central IL where it has been popular. The only real flaw I should mention here (although it does not affect how it works) is that one of the targets on the “roto-target” is broken off. This is the target in the top left corner of the playfield. It is a big wheel with lots of different targets on it. From time to time this target rotates and changes what values are scored when hitting that target. One of the many targets broke off, and I can find no way to replace it. The good news is that it still scores and functions perfectly. It just doesn’t show the number “3” anymore. Otherwise, this game functions 100% perfectly and plays great in every way! NOTE: The displays all work perfectly and have no burns or flaws of any kind. Nice, great playing, fully working, players’ condition widebody pinball. Everything on this game is working 100%. It has been fully shopped. All bulbs have been replaced with top quality LEDs. All displays are fully working. All coils and switches are fully working. Flippers are nice and strong. Drop targets have all been taken apart, cleaned, and work perfectly. Sound board has been rebuilt and sounds great. BTW, all the displays work perfectly. The shutter speed on my camera is so fast that it makes it look like some of the digits are not working. This is not true – in real life all the displays are working completely. HUGE wide playfield with lots to shoot for and great action. The game really plays very well and looks good. I changed all bulbs to LEDs. And not cheap chinese LEDs – I get only the best from Cointaker. I made a quick movie showing the game fully working. You can see it here. 1993 Twilight Zone Pinball Machine by Bally – Widebody – Personal Collection. This Pinball Machine is from my personal collection. This machine has been in my personal collection for over 20 years. I had the machine completely gone through 15 years ago, hover it had some minor issues when playing and the delaer who repaired it was over 200 miles away, and so I just lived with the issues. Adams Family, Six Million Dollar Man, Twilight Zone, Theatre of Magic, Tales From The Crypt and Cyclone. Dimensions: 28 W x 56 D x 77 H. Twilight Zone pinball machine is a widebody machine, designed by Pat Lawlor and based on the TV series of the same name. It was first released in 1993 by Midway (under the Bally label). This game is part of WMS SuperPin line of widebody games alongside Star Trek: The Next Generation and Indiana Jones: The Pinball Adventure. Following the huge success of The Addams Family pinball game, Midway gave Lawlor full creative control over the design of his next game, and the result is an unusually complex machine. Among its noted features include a working gumball machine (which deposits balls), a working analog clock (used as a timer for various modes), the Powerfield (a small separate play field where the ball is propelled by magnets rather than flippers), and the Powerball, a white ceramic ball which is lighter than a regular steel ball and is non-magnetic. In addition to adapting the theme music from the original TV show, the games main background music is an interpretation of the 1982 hit Twilight Zone, by Golden Earring. Tim Kitzrow provided the voice of Rod Serling. THIS IS A 43 YEAR OLD PIN AND MAN DOES IT LOOK GOOD FOR ITS AGE. THE PLAYFIELD IS A VERY NICE EXAMPLE AND ONLY SHOWS MINOR WEAR. AGAIN, FOR A GAME OF THIS AGE THIS PLAYFIELD SHOULD HAVE A TON OF WEAR. SIMPLY PUT IT IS JUST PLAIN NICE. THE CABINETS SHOWS VIBRANT ORIGINAL COLORS AND ONLY MINOR NICKS AND SCRATCHES FOR A 43 YEAR OLD PIN. TAKE A GOOD LOOK A THE PICS TO SEE JUST HOW NICE THE CABINET AND PLAYFIELD ARE ON THIS GAME. THE BACKGLASS IS A SOLID ORIGINAL WITH MINOR WEAR IN SPOTS. THE GAME PLAY IS A AWESOME WITH 4 FLIPPERS, 4 DROP TARGETS, AN UP POST BETWEEN THE FLIPPERS, 2 KICK OUT HOLES, A SWINGING TARGET, A COOL HORSESHOE LANE AND 3 CLASSIC POP BUMPERS. EVEN THE COIN DOOR ON THIS MACHINE IS A STUNNING EXAMPLE. THIS PIN REALLY PLAYS TREMENDOUS AND WOULD BE A FUN ADDITION TO ANY HOME GAME ROOM.
