A rare early 1950s woodrail pinball machine from Chicago Coin Machine Company (Chicago, IL). The Skyline model captures the atomic-age optimism and urban glamour of the postwar era, with its striking skyscraper artwork and colorful city motif. Type: Electro-mechanical (EM), woodrail design. Playfield Theme: City skyline and rocket-age architecture. 25″ W × 52″ L × 67 H (assembled). All-original and complete – retains original wiring harnesses, playfield glass, bumpers, plastics, coin door, and wooden legs. Non-operational; lights and scoring not currently functioning but all components appear intact for restoration. Playfield graphics show bright color and clean lines for age. Backglass artwork in good vintage condition with light age wear. Coin mechanism stamped Chicago Coin. Original wood cabinet and legs with patina consistent with 70+ years of age. This early EM model represents Chicago Coin’s transition from pre-flipper to flipper playfields. Its graphic design is distinctly early 1950s, with stylized rockets and skyscrapers-a favorite among woodrail enthusiasts. Machines like this rarely appear complete and unmodified.
