This is a beautifully designed pinball machine that is perfect for family enjoyment. We have thoroughly serviced this game, completing all necessary repairs and meticulously cleaning and waxing the playfield. Additionally, we have replaced all the rubber components and upgraded all the lights to stunning LEDs. The flippers and pop bumpers have been completely rebuilt, and a brand new top glass has been installed. This is A highly collectable pinball machine. It features Rudy, the ventriloquist dummy head. He heckles the player. His eyes follow the ball. You try to hit him, and when multiball is ready you hit the ball into his mouth. When you get multiball, he spits the ball out of his mouth. This game has an additional ball shooter on the left side for a skill shot into the Crazy Steps where you can light Extra Ball, get 500,000 points, or light Frenzy, that you enable by spelling out steps. This is the first Williams pinball to use the WPC circuit boards. The game has several modes. It has a trap door that you shoot it into for Jackpots. This game features 3 flippers, and as with many of Pat Lawlors games the jackpot must be achieved with the top flipper. OBJECT: To relieve the Natives Island God, KONA. Collect all seven ingredients of the Professor’s Secret Formula Lava Seltzer. Take the Lava Seltzer through the Jungle Run Trails and get it to Kona. NICE 1972 Gottlieb FLYING CARPET pinball machine Shopped LED’ed FREE SHIPPING

This is a fully working, fully shopped Flying Carpet pinball game. We have fully shopped it and replaced all of the rubber bands with new ones. We have also replaced all of the light bulbs with new LEDs. We used a very tasteful choice of warm light bulbs on the playfield and backglass, with cool light on the backglass just behind the scores which I think makes the scores pop out and look great. This creates an older, classic yet vibrant look. Every single bulb, switch, coil, target, bell, etc is working great. The game has a new ball and locks. It does not have the quarter acceptance mechanisms, but is on free play. That said, the credit system is fully working on it and knocks on credits when you get a special or match, and counts them down when you start a game. It just can’t take quarters unless you put those quarter accepting parts back on the coin door. CONDITION and RATINGS for THIS SPECIFIC MACHINE. This cosmetic condition of this Flying Carpet pinball machine overall is excellent. It is not perfect, but quite good for something built over 50 years ago. The playfield has only the tiniest spots of wear on it in a few spots. Otherwise the paint is all intact and still as vibrant as the day it rolled off the line. There is planking on the playfield though, which is extremely common. The plastics seem perfect to me – I couldn’t find any flaws. The cabinet is in outstanding condition – no sign of water or other physical damage. The paint is all original and in excellent condition. The backglass looks really great and is in good condition. Gorgeous, vibrant artwork with some flaws. The title section “Flying Carpet” paint and some portions of the clothing on one of the people is starting to flake a bit. You will notice that it is just one specific color that has started to flake. This is common – each color of paint they used on these old silkscreens had different chemistry, and usually there will be one or more colors that didn’t adhere to the glass as well as the other colors. On this game it is just that one shade of red. Otherwise the paint is perfect on the backglass. If you need any more pictures or have any questions, please let me know – I’m happy to answer. PLAYFIELD PLASTICS: 9.5/10. STANDARD GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ELECTRO-MECHANICAL PINBALL SHOPPING. When we shop an electro-mechanical pinball, here is what that includes. 1 Removed most everything from the playfield. 2 Clean, wax, and polish entire playing surface. 3 Replace all above-playfield light bulbs with new LED bulbs. 4 Replace all below-playfield light bulbs with new LED matching colored bulbs. 5 Replace all rubbers with new ones. 6 Re-install all above playfield plastics and hardware after thorough cleaning. 7 Remove backglass, replace all bulbs with LEDs. 8 Carefully clean all score reels and make sure switches are properly cleaned and working. 9 Make sure all features of pinball are working properly. 10 Scrub, clean, and touch up cabinet to the best of our limited ability. 11 Install new lock on front door. 12 Install new ball(s).
