This was originally a Chrismas Present for me in that Christmas of 1977. Move your mouse cursor over my photos for a Larger View. Measures about 3′ 8 long. The back display is 22 1/4″ high x 26″ wide x 11 deep. It will need a few minor repairs. When I decided to sell it I fired it back up and 2 of the rubber rings broke from age. 2 other issues are the solenoid for the ball plunger would need to be replaced it does not recoil all of the time so the ball will not be able to drop into its hole to be put back into play. As a kid I removed the plexiglass to push the solenoid back before putting the ball in play and played without the plexiglass. The other issue is the 800 bonus button. When it is run over with the ball at the top of the playing field it sould have a higher pitched ring tone for scoring. The solenoid for that is also in need of repair or replacement. When the lower button near the middle of the playing field is run over by the ball the scoring goes back to normal points and the lower pitched ring tone sounds as targets are hit. 3 balls per game. 1955 Williams Regatta’Woodrail’ pinball. I just pulled this game out of storage and it was in working condition when it went into storage about 3 years ago. As usual, after an EM sits for a long time without being played, it needs some cleaning of contacts and some fine tuning. The game can definitely use some restoration. I haven’t had the time to do anything to it but will start cleaning it up if it doesn’t sell and you might see some upgraded pictures after awhile if this is the case. The only thing that I did to it right away was rip off the ugly cold cloth material that was covering the apron. I have no idea why this was done but whatever. It needs one of those reproduction covers. The legs are those unusual legs you sometimes see on old Bally pinballs. I don’t know why Williams decided to go with these but these were used on some machines during that time period. The backglass has some chipping around the edges. I haven’t removed it yet so I don’t know if it has been sealed by Krylon Triple Thick. If the game is still around, I will probably pull it out soon and post a picture, especially if someone asks me to. Important – This game effectively has no plastics. It needs a new set or at least something to cover the areas that they are normally covering. The plastics are in awful shape and all are cracked, falling apart or missing. What’s left is extremely fragile and won’t last for long. I was going to remove them altogether but decided to leave them on for aesthetic purposes. I will be posting more games for sale in the upcoming weeks. I’m not really a good negotiator but I’m not desperate either. However, I do need to have that bedroom back by the beginning of next year. Precision-NAL ships curb-to-curb and I highly recommend them. You can call them at. Medusa is here, and she brought her naughty bits. She was a very dirty girl when she came to me, but cleaned up nice! I’m not a pin guy but this may be the favorite one I’ve owned so far – I really like the upper playfield with the flippers that reposition. Anyhow, the game is in overall good shape. Not much wear at all on the playfield but it looks like there are a couple areas where something got under the mylar. The upper drop targets all work properly, but they aren’t the original Medusa targets. The lower drop targets all work and are the Medusa originals, with wear on them. The flippers ARE NOW THE PROPER TRANSLUCENT ONES! Also, the “Shield of the Gods” isn’t the original red translucent part either; seems nobody is reproing them right now. A solenoid kicker takes its place and works well. See the last pic for closeups of these parts. All solenoids and switches work and pass self-test. Switches have been cleaned adjusted where necessary. There are about 6 or so GI sockets that are bad and 4 or so lamp sockets that are bad. I’ve left bulbs out of them for easy identification for the new owner. Boards are all original with all headers reflowed and no self-test issues. All sounds and speech work, too. I did do the off-board button battery mod as well. The displays are all solid. I did pilfer the transistors for digit six on the 6 digit ball/credit display since digit 4 needed them. Digit six is not used, or even seen on this game but wanted to let you know just the same. Two of the bumper caps are in excellent shape and two, not so much, with some glue helping them out – see pics. Couple of the plastics have had the same fate, but they are all present and presentable. The cabinet artwork is strong, albeit with some fading and scratches and other wear after 40 or so years. The backglass – this is the much more uncommon “prototype” artwork that is far more, um, “revealing” than the eventual production run. Sadly, there has been some flaking, with the bottom paint pieces preserved and reattached with 3 coats of Triple-Thick tying the whole backglass all together to avoid any further issues. Original keys for the backboard included as well. Lastly, comes with the original coin box, too. Don’t avert your eyes, bring her home! Freddy is a Gottlieb system 3 game featuring your favorite horror film character Freddy Krueger. All plastics are intact and are in very good condition. The playfield is in very good condition for a 26 year old game with some very minor playfield wear. Cabinet is in very good condition and looks great. There are some minor chips and scratches in the paint and some overall bumps and bruises as would be expected from a game of this era. Graphics show well with no noticeable fading. The main display is strong and sharp and has no issues. This collectable machine would be perfect for your shop, garage or man cave. Rare Vintage Williams SMARTY Pinball Machine 1968. SMARTY 1968 classic pinball machine made by Williams in excellent playing condition. SMARTY is a two-flipper electromagnetic game, with the classic smaller style flippers. The object of the game is to hit various targets and rollovers to light up letters in a grid on the playfield. The grid is a 4×4 matrix of letters, spelled out in four letter words (NOT the kind of 4-letter words you yell when the ball drains). As you complete each word, certain bonuses are activated which either give you more points, or scores an extra ball. This pinball machine adds balls. It was built in an era where pinball machines were considered gambling devices in some jurisdictions. There is a version of this game which does score freeplays. Its called Ding Dong, and it’s completely identical to Smarty, except for the name. This is the more desirable version. The gameplay is pure fun for all ages with a nostalgic feel. The backglass is colorful and whimsical not a lot of flaking. The playfields colors are surprisingly vivid for a 50+ year old machine. Very little wear on the sides for 50+ year machine. Flippers (4), Pop bumpers (2), Star rollovers (4), Standup targets (2), 3-bank drop targets (2), 4-bank drop targets (1), Spinning target (1). The white target and yellow targets are reset by one coil and the purple targets are reset by a separate coil. Each side of the spinning target depicts a sword but they are oriented differently from each other to allow the target when spinning to give the effect of crossed swords. Quantity produced – domestic: 5,758. Quantity produced – export: 6,242. Total quantity produced: 12,000. The flyer indicates that this game was a direct tie-in to the 1977 Hollywood movie “Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger”.
