WILLIAMS BLACK KNIGHT PINBALL MACHINE 1980 “TIME CAPSULE” NEW OUT OF BOX DOCUMENTED HOME USE! Let me tell you the true story of this incredible machine, as I have come to understand it! John’s Jukes Ltd. Box, from the Time Travel Warehouse. The Doctor, who was ill at the time, unboxed the pin, set it up, and apparently tried to get it. Up and running, but never did get it to play, and sadly, died not long after. The pin sat in his family’s garage until 2018, when his. Daughter, decided it was time to sell it. I then bought it from her (I have receipt). The Doctor, he removed it from the box, and it was never played, just stored. Now, I get it, and you would think with a “new” pin. It would just about be plug and play. But, even “new” items that sit for 38 years, are going to have issues of age, time and storage. So, I had all the original boards, the power board and both boards of the CPU refurbished by Clive Jones, Coin-Op Cauldron. The display driver repaired by another good professional. I left everything original, except rubber rings, playfield plastic caps and. Other wear items, like balls. I did replace all the incandescent bulbs with LED’s, but saved the bulbs. I replaced the legs with the. Proper legs from The Pinball Resource, Steve Young. I added clear leg protectors to protect the cabinet. I have a replacement set. Of proper side rails, from PinballShopNL, the. Because of one or two small corrosion spots on the ones on the pin. And they are included but they are uninstalled. I obtained original Manual and Instruction Booklet, not copies, but they are not original. The machine may have 12 or so full plays on it. Just enough to ensure that it is fully working, 100%. Here is a detailed run down on condition and additions. German 0.5 mm (0.02) VIVAK (PET-G) clear playfield protector installed on upper and lower playfield. Cliffy Protectors installed on ball kick-out, and both saucer kick-outs. New Clear leg protectors. New leg bolts (original leg bolts saved and included). LED’s throughout, all white, to coincide with intended original look (original incandescent light bulbs saved and included). New rubber rings and rubber posts. New clear protectors for playfield plastics for those that were available as well as the metal drain lane guides. Spinner target has mylar protector applied. New proper side rails included, uninstalled. All game boards extensively refurbished. New playfield glass for a perfect view. New chrome acorn caps on plastics (original nylon caps saved and included). Includes new reproduction drop target decals, not applied, as I came to understand the originals are not faded, that was the intended color. Original manual and instruction booklet, not reproduction, but not original to this machine. I have the original box that the backglass came in, and it can be included. Some small marks to cabinet, very difficult to show in pictures, from de-boxing and storage. Please note that the serial number on the original receipt, does not match the number on the pin. Within a day or so, and they simply “picked-up” the wrong serial number when making out the receipt. MANY MORE PICS AT. Don’t wait for it to be gone!
