1979 Williams Gorgar All New Leds The First Talking Pinball Machine
THE FIRST TALKING PINBALL MACHINE. THIS IS A NICE EXAMPLE OF THIS CLASSIC GAME. NEW ROTTENDOG CPU AND POWER SUPPLY BOARDS. BESIDES SPEAKING ALL OF 7 WORDS THIS MACHINE ALSO HAS A HEARTBEAT THAT INCREASES IN SOUND THE LONGER YOU PLAY. THE GAME LOOKS AND PLAYS GREAT. THE PLAYFIELD WAS CLEANED AND WAXED WITH NEW RUBBERS AND LED LIGHTS. THESE LEDS REALLY BRING THE PLAYFIELD TO LIFE. THE PLAYFIELD IS A NICE EXAMPLE WITH MINOR WEAR IN SPOTS BUT BY NO MEANS THE USUAL WEAR OFTEN SEEN ON THESE GAMES. THE CABINET ALSO ALL ORININAL PAINT WITH THE SAME MINOR NICKS AND SCRATCHES. THE BACKGLASS IS OK BUT HAS FLAKING BUT STILL HAS GOOD ORIGINAL COLORS, NO TOUCH UPS. Bally 1978 Eight Ball Pinball Machine Arcade Game 8-Ball NEW MPU
Bally Eight Ball pinball machine 1978 Arcade game. Cabinet has ware, playfield is worn and has discoloration , otherwise the game plays well. Problems with some of the displays and play field lamps. Crack in back glass, right side, has been glued with glass epoxy, paint is flaking. Includes some misc spare parts. It’s a good mancave toy, up to 4 can play. May be picked up in 35801. Huntsville AL, ground level residence. I try to be as honest as possible, please ask questions if you have any I’m happy to help! Please ask for more pictures I can send a video too. About the game Eight: Ball / IPD No. Maximum displayed point score is 999,990 points per player. Design by: George Christian Art by: Paul Faris Notes: Although Eight Ball is a solid state machine, sound is not generated by a sound board. Instead, a 4-note MPU controlled chimebox produces the sound for this game. This provides the experience of solid state scoring and response, with the added nostalgia of Electro-mechanical chimes. The BONUS BALLS in the centre of the lower playfield are designated balls 1-7 for Players 1 & 3, balls 9-15 for Players 2 & 4. Artist Margaret Hudson, who assisted Paul Faris on this game as a learning experience, says those are her initials on the bracelet of the girl in the backglass. Two of the light shields are unusual as they have a second screening of red on top of the normal screening. This causes an effect similar used on the “Phantom of the Opera” glass, though no one probably would ever normally notice. For instance, “Pinky Tuscadero’s” shirt on the slingshot plastic appears red when the game is on, and tan when it’s off. Pictured in this listing is an Early Production game with serial number EEB1109 located in Germany. The backglass does not lift up and out of the game but remains in its wood frame which hinges outward. The key lock for it is positioned lower on the backbox side than it is for later production backboxes which do not hinge. We filled up a semi trailer and this machines been in my collection ever since. ONLY 375 were ever made and it’s one of the last Gottlieb EM single player games. Comes with the schematic. The glass is in perfect condition with all the colors vibrant. The play field is a 9+ out of 10 (see photos). The cabinet colors are not faded and thestill bright there are some minor scratches on the cabinet. It’s been fully shopped out and works perfectly, with new light bulbs and rubber. We do not have the time to test out the electronic parts, although we do try to be as complete as possible in describing them. We bought out San Francisco’s oldest operator (since 1952) of coin operated amusement machines, AND oldest parts distributor (since 1930’s) as well. Our lack of space is your gain! Jukebox, Pinball and Video Game parts, plus much, much more. We are auctioning off THOUSANDS of these items, so please follow our actions closely…. NOTE: Please do not ask us if we have a certain part that is not listed yet. While the answer may very well be yes, we really have too many parts to search through. There are pallets holding hundreds of boxes with tens of thousands of parts. As we unpack and go through the items, we will be listing them for sale.
