There is no more important machine than High Speen in 1986 designed by Steve Ritchie to combat the video game wars of 1983. Revitalization of the Pinball Industry. High Speed was the first Williams pinball game. To utilize alpha-numeric displays. It introduced the first diverter in a pinball machine. “Kick-Big” (kicker and scoop). High Speed featured the first “Kick-Big” (kicker and scoop) in a pinball machine. It was the first game to include a “Jackpot” during multiball.
