Comet pinball machine available now. Playfield has minor from use and age. Cabinet is in nice original condition but does have marks and imperfections from use and age. Game is completely gone through by Orange County Pinballs, a full service pinball shop. Game goes through a rigorous refurbishment process and service checklist by professional pinball technicians to make sure it is 100% fully operational and looks great! All electronic boards are inspected, serviced, repaired and any burnt connectors replaced. Fuses are checked and correct fuse values installed (safety issue to prevent damage to the game or a fire). Cabinet vacuumed, outside of cabinet cleaned and inspected for any issues. Playfield is stripped down and all plastics, ramps and mechanisms are cleaned and the playfield is polished. If the game has plastic ramps they are flame polished to restore clarity and appearance. Flippers are rebuilt with new plungers, links and coil stops to ensure the strongest possible flippers. All rubber rings are replaced and all new lightbulbs installed. All switches are checked, adjusted or replaced. All coils and mechanisms are checked, adjusted or replaced. New sheet of tempered playfield glass. Locks with keys for full access inside the machine. Also the location must be tractor trailer accessible. Williams Comet Pinball Machine 1985 RARE Rollercoaster Carnival Theme Park WOW
Item is located on the Northwest side of Chicago just 5 minutes off of I94. It will be up to you to get this loaded. Should be easy to get out and into a vehicle. I have owned this machine for the past 25 years. It has always worked and I used to get it serviced every 5 year or so to keep it running well. I do have the extra inserts, manual, coinbox ETC. As far as I know, this machine is 100% complete with no broken ramps or anything like that. I went to replace the batteries in the scoreboard and broke a little metal disk off the battery cartridge. I guess without the battery cartridge working, the system must not be grounded or something. It no longer power ups. Might be an easy fix if you know how. But I recently decided to sell off my man cave stuff instead. See my other listings for more mechanical cool man cave stuff. I’ll cut you a deal if you load up your truck with stuff. The cabinet itself is pretty solid. Bumps, bruises and scratches from being almost 35 years old. I bought this from World Wide Arcade in Chicago back in 1995. The machine was fully shopped then and was played sparingly over the past 25 years since. That one was in better shape, and it worked. Even if my unit was just parted out it is worth far more than my asking. I just need the space back in my basement. This is a very nice Simpsons Kooky Carnival. All new led bulbs. Upgraded rom version to the newest. Comes with a manual. One ramp motor is slower then the other. Does not affect game play. The Simpsons Kooky Carnival is a colorful, animated, and kooky redemption game created by the minds at Stern Pinball! The following updates/repairs/maintenance was performed in May 2018. Many bulbs replaced with incandescent solids, flashers and many solid warm frosted LED. Many color changing LEDs also installed under the play field and at scoring reels! Playfield cleaned and waxed.
