THIS IS A STUNNING EXAMPLE OF THIS GAME WITH AN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING PLAYFIELD. OUR TEAM OF TECHS MADE SURE TO GIVE IT THE LOVE IT TRULY DESERVES. OUR INCREDIBLE TEAM OF TECHS TORE DOWN THE PLAYFIELD, CLEANED AND WAXED EVERYTHING AND INSTALLED ALL NEW LED LIGHTS AND RUBBERS. THE LEDS LOOK ABSOULUTELY FANTASTIC AND MAN DO THEY BRING OUT THE COLORS IN THE PLAYFIELD. THE PLAYFIELD WAS CLEAR COATED AT SOME POINT IN ITS LIFE TO PREVENT WEAR. YOU HAVE TO LOOK LONG AND HARD TO FIND ANY MINOR WEAR ON THIS INCREDIBLE LOOKING PLAYFIELD. WE HAVE HAD PLENTY OF SPACE SHUTTLES COME THROUGH AND THIS IS THE NICEST EXMPLE BY FAR. ALL NEW PLASTICS WERE INSTALLED AND THEY FANTASTIC. A NEW SPACE SHUTTLE FOR THE PLAYFIELD AS WELL AS NEW RAMPS WERE ALSO INSTALLED. THESE GAMES WERE SUPER POPULAR AND PLAYED OFTEN, SO THIS PLAYFIELD IS A SURVIVOR. THE CABINETS ON THESE ARE ALWAYS FADED TO HECK, BUT NOT THIS EXAMPLE. THE COLORS ARE VIVID AND THE BLUES AND REDS LOOK GREAT. THE CABINET EXHIBITS MINOR NICKS AND SCRATCHES FOR A PIN OF THIS AGE. THE BACKGLASS WITH THE SPACE SHUTTLE IS THE FOCAL POINT OF THE PIN AND THIS ONE EXHIBITS MINOR WEAR WITH SOLID COLORS. THE BACKGLASS ART REALLY COMPLEMENTS THE PLAYFIELD ART NICELY. Vintage 1940s Lindstrom “Rocket Shot” Bagatelle Pin Game – Atomic Age Space Theme. You can “Supersize” images – take advantage of it! What you see is what you get; I don’t use stock photos. Original Lindstrom “Rocket Shot” tabletop Bagatelle game, manufactured by the Lindstrom Tool & Toy Co. Of Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA, circa late 1940s-early 1950s. Features striking rocket-era yellow, red, green, and black litho graphics with geometric “atomic burst” design. The printed instruction sheet remains affixed to the backboard, detailing gameplay and scoring. Includes spring plunger, metal pins, and both working spinner wheels. A great crossover collectible – early mechanical pinball, Atomic Age design, and midcentury toy history all in one piece. Brand: Lindstrom Tool & Toy Co. Space Invaders by Bally 1980. Alltek Solenoid Driver Board. Alltek Lamp Driver Boards. Replacement Bridge Rectifier Board. Premium LED lighting installed. Game is completely gone through by Orange County Pinballs, a full service pinball shop. Game goes through a rigorous refurbishment process and service checklist by professional pinball technicians to make sure it is 100% fully operational and looks great! All electronic boards are inspected, serviced, repaired and any burnt connectors replaced. Fuses are checked and correct fuse values installed (safety issue to prevent damage to the game or a fire). Cabinet vacuumed, outside of cabinet cleaned and inspected for any issues. Playfield is stripped down and all plastics, ramps and mechanisms are cleaned and the playfield is polished. If the game has plastic ramps they are flame polished to restore clarity and appearance. Flippers are rebuilt with new plungers, links and coil stops to ensure the strongest possible flippers. All rubber rings are replaced and all new lightbulbs installed. All switches are checked, adjusted or replaced. All coils and mechanisms are checked, adjusted or replaced. New sheet of tempered playfield glass. Locks with keys for full access inside the machine.
A fully functional, beautiful machine, all features function, the machine was recently check by a technician with no issues. Rubbers replaced and playfield waxed.
This machine has been completely restored by our professionals of 46 years in the business and works 100%! Our restoration process takes approx. 40 hours and include but not limited to. Checking all connectors for corrosion and solder breakdown, inspecting for weak displays, rebuilding flippers as needed, checking all solenoids & mechanics for wear, replacing batteries and reprogramming, re-rubbering the playfield as well as cleaning and polishing the playfield, ramps & plastics.
